Control I’m Here is the EBM project of Paul Chenault, member of the @hush_ltd art collective and remix contributor for artists Ex-Hyena, Pleasure Policy, Jackson VanHorn, Denial Waits, and Molotov Lust. Control I’m Here produces hard-hitting EBM infused with grooves and atypical genre conventions to bring a fresh perspective to the genre. Control I’m Here’s previous output was the 2021 collaboration with fellow Hush Club member @bloodhandsome (Young & Cold Records), as well as an infectious single “Majesty Disease” in 2020.
N●V●K[!//]S (pronounced novo-kills) is a completely instrumental EP of heavy bass synth, percussive assaults, and unique grooves coupled with non-electronic elements. The word Novo also means “beginning” which is fitting for this debut release. Topics on the release range from faith, revenge, disillusionment, beauty, cliches, and grief.
